Terms & Messaging Policy

The service
Demandwork does work you ask for. You describe a job in plain language; an agent does it on a machine we run and returns the finished files. You are responsible for the requests you send and for reviewing what comes back before you rely on it. Agent output can be wrong — check anything that matters.
Acceptable use
Do not use Demandwork to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to produce material that harms people. We may suspend an account that does.
Your work belongs to you
You own the deliverables produced for you. We keep a copy so you can download them and follow up on the job, and we do not use them to train public models.
Messaging program
Demandwork operates a two-way conversational messaging program on (888) 364-8275.
- What we send. Replies to the work you asked for: a confirmation that we picked up your request, the finished result, and questions if we need something from you to complete the job. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
- How you opt in. By texting (888) 364-8275 with a request, or by giving us your mobile number on demand.work and asking us to deliver your work by text. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency. Varies — messages are a reply to something you asked for, so you receive them only in response to your own requests.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Demandwork does not charge for the messages themselves.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you immediately. You will get one confirmation, and nothing after that. Text START to resume.
- Help. Reply HELP for help, or reach us at work@demand.work.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep Demandwork running, but it is provided as is, without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the prior three months.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
